Oleh Wolowyna will deliver a lecture, in Ukrainian, titled “Challenges in Studying the Holodomor.” The lecture will discuss facts and myths about the Famine, touching upon the following topics: what we know, what we think we know, and what we don’t know; the Holodomor as one of the greatest crimes of the 20th century; collaboration among historians and demographers in the study of the Holodomor; and scholarship as a weapon against Russian disinformation.
