Holodomor Programming at the Danyliw Research Seminar on Contemporary Ukraine
HREC sponsored Holodomor content at the Danyliw Research Seminar on Contemporary Ukraine at the University of Ottawa, a prestigious annual event in Ukrainian studies, bringing together international researchers working in the social sciences and humanities related to Ukraine. A highlight of the seminar was a session with Anne Applebaum, entitled “Researching the Holodomor: A Conversation with Anne Applebaum,” moderated by Daria Mattingly and Mayhill Fowler, during which Ms. Applebaum reflected on the process of writing Red Famine.
