Canadian Association of Slavists Conference (Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences), Brock University, May 24-26, 2014. Dr. Bohdan Klid presented on “Historiography, Politics and Memory of the 1932–1933 Famine in Ukraine (Holodomor): Recent Scholarly Literature from Ukraine” on a panel organized by HREC titled “The Famine of 1932–33 in Ukraine: Representations, Politics and Memory.” The session was part of the program of the Other presentations at the conference were made by Mykola Soroka on “The Ukrainian Famine of 1932–33 as Reflected in the Russian Émigré Press of the Interwar Period” and Serge Cipko on “The Holodomor through the Prism of the Winnipeg Free Press and the Winnipeg Tribune.” Andrij Makuch of HREC (Toronto) provided commentary to the three presentations.
