Film Screening of “Hunger for Truth”
At a Holodomor commemoration event held by the University of Toronto – Mississauga’s Ukrainian Students’ Club, HREC’s Anastasia Leshchyshyn presented on a HREC photo directory project that will feature authenticated photographs from the Holodomor era. The event also featured a screening of the film “Hunger for Truth,” produced by the Holodomor National Awareness Tour, which tells the story of Rhea Clyman, a young Canadian who was the first journalist to witness and report on the Famine. HREC provided research support in the making of the film.
