What Does “Never Again” Really Mean?: The Importance of Genocide Education in Fighting Hate

In April, in recognition of Genocide Awareness, Condemnation, and Prevention Month, HREC partnered with the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, the Center for Israel and Jewish Affairs, the Armenian National Committee of Canada, and the Humura Association to organize a series of events on the importance of genocide education. 

Marta Baziuk was a speaker on a panel held in the Parliament of Canada, featuring renowned academics and genocide survivors, who shared their insights on genocide awareness and prevention. The event was also sponsored by the All-Party Panelists Anna Shternshis, William Noll, Olga Andriewsky, and Natalia Khanenko-Friesen.
